NYC Wins District Young Composers Competition

I’m thrilled to announce that my piece NYC was selected as the winner of the Pinellas County Young Composers Competition. This district-level honor recognizes outstanding student compositions from across Pinellas County, and I am proud to see NYC earn this distinction.

The premiere performance was given by the Pinellas County All-County Symphonic Band, conducted by Michael Olson, at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. Hearing the piece come to life in such a prestigious venue—performed by talented young musicians—was an unforgettable experience.

Thank you to the adjudicators, educators, and performers who supported this work and helped bring it to the stage.
