Indigo Premieres at the College Band Directors National Association Conference
I am proud to share that my work Indigo received its premiere at the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Conference—one of the most respected stages for collegiate wind band performance and contemporary repertoire.
The premiere was given by the Troy University Symphony Band, under the direction of Dr. Mark Walker. Their musicianship, precision, and expressive depth brought Indigo to life in a way that was both powerful and deeply moving. It was an honor to have this piece showcased by such an outstanding ensemble at a conference that celebrates innovation and excellence in wind band literature.
Performing at CBDNA represents a significant milestone in the life of any composition, and I am grateful to Dr. Walker, the students, and everyone involved for their passion and dedication.
