Obsidian Hellfire Receives State Recognition

I’m proud to announce that my composition Obsidian Hellfire has received state-level recognition, being selected for the Alabama Music Educators Association’s (AMEA) Young Composer Award. This honor highlights emerging composers who demonstrate creativity, craft, and meaningful contribution to the future of music education and performance.

The award was presented at the AMEA State Conference in Birmingham, Alabama, an event that brings together music educators, performers, and leaders from across the state. Receiving this recognition alongside so many respected colleagues and mentors was an incredibly meaningful moment in my journey as a composer.

I am deeply grateful to AMEA for this honor and to everyone who has supported Obsidian Hellfire from its premiere to its continued success. Thank you for believing in the music and its message.
